A Christmas and New Year's Eve trip to Australia to visit Edo's sister Anouk and her husband and daughter, and to see some other nature highlights in Australia: King's Canyon, Alice Springs, Ayers Rock (Uluru), Queensland's Atherton Tablelands, snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef and Port Douglas. On our way back home, we stopped over for a few days in Singapore where we met up with our good friend Joy from Hong Kong and her (then) boyfriend Jonathan.
